TO BUILD A COUNTRY

Politics of everyone...............

To build a country, every individual has a responsibility or part to play. We have to contribute our quota to see the country we are hoping for. Unfortunately in the Ghanaian and African politicking, we have missed the mark in the issue of individual contributions. Mostly I read and hear people commenting and criticizing on  government policies and programs. I don’t condemn criticisms because it sometimes shapes the policies of Government. When there’s an economic crisis and total economic break down, we should work with the government diligently to solve the problem at hand. 

Unfortunately, what is destroying Ghana and Africa in-terms of development is adversarial politics. 

  Adversarial  politics is when there is a deep and broad disagreement between the main political parties. It is the opposite of consensus politics. When it happens like that, development cannot be realized in a country.  

Mark Twain once said:

 “Patriotism is supporting your country at all time and your government when it deserves it.” 

We must learn how to stand United, facing the biggest responsibility to change our country into a nation of Justice, solidarity, humanity and green development.
